Emission Control
Emission Control
In recent years, the company has actively implemented national and Shandong Province’s initiatives to combat air pollution. With a total investment of 80 million RMB, it upgraded desulfurization, denitrification, and dust removal systems in its cogeneration project to achieve ultra-low emissions. In 2021, outdated boilers were replaced with new, more efficient ones, significantly improving coal utilization and reducing air pollutant emissions. Flue gas emissions are now far below the limits set by the Emission Standards of Air Pollutants for Thermal Power Plants (DB37 664-2019).
For viscose exhaust management, the company invested over 100 million RMB in a comprehensive treatment project for high- and low-concentration exhaust gases. High-concentration gases undergo alkaline washing to remove H2S, producing sodium hydrosulfide, which is evaporated, concentrated, and sold as a byproduct. CS2 is captured through activated carbon adsorption and steam desorption, then condensed and recycled as a raw material for the viscose production yellowing process, achieving both environmental and economic sustainability. Treated exhaust gases are discharged through stacks in compliance with the Emission Standards for Odorous Pollutants (GB 14554).
