Wastewater Treatment
Wastewater Treatment
The company has invested 150 million RMB to build two wastewater treatment systems, each with a daily processing capacity of 15,000 cubic meters—one for dissolving pulp wastewater and the other for viscose wastewater. These systems use advanced technology combining "UASB anaerobic treatment, activated sludge aerobic treatment, and catalytic oxidation for advanced processing." After treatment, the discharge water achieves COD levels below 200 mg/L and NH3-N levels below 20 mg/L, exceeding the Class B standards of the Quality Standards for Sewage Discharged into Urban Sewer Systems (GB/T 31962-2015). The treated wastewater is then transferred through the municipal pipeline to Kangda Environmental (Gaomi) Water Services Co., Ltd. for further treatment.
Sludge generated during the process is dewatered using high-efficiency membrane filter presses and then dried and incinerated in the thermal power plant, maximizing its residual energy and turning waste into a resource. To address odors, the company has installed odor treatment facilities, sealing the anaerobic sections to capture gases. These gases are treated with a "two-stage alkali absorption and catalytic oxidation" system, ensuring emissions meet strict standards: H2S ≤ 2 mg/m³, NH3 ≤ 10 mg/m³, and odor concentration ≤ 600 (dimensionless). These levels are well below the limits set by the Emission Standards for Volatile Organic Compounds and Odor Pollutants from Sewage Treatment Plants of Organic Chemical Enterprises (DB37 3161-2018), ensuring an odor-free environment around the plant.
